Todd Howard is the current executive producer for Bethesda Softworks, creators of The Elder Scrolls game series. Howard began working for Bethesda in 1994 when Arena, the first installment in the series, was first released.


Todd has spent over a decade working in the video game industry. He joined Bethesda Softworks in 1994, and is currently Executive Producer of The Elder Scrolls series, and of Fallout 3.

His major credits include Project Leader and Designer of Morrowind (2002 RPG of the Year - Computer Gaming World & Xbox Magazine), design on Daggerfall (1996 Role Playing Game of the Year - Computer Gaming World & PC Gamer), Producer and Designer of The Terminator: Future Shock and SkyNET (1996 PC Gamer Editor's Choice, 5 Stars - Next Generation), and Project Leader and Designer of Redguard (1998 Adventure Game of the Year Finalist - Computer Gaming World & PC Gamer).

Todd and his games have been featured in Newsweek, USA Today, CNN, The Today Show, and numerous gaming magazines and game development books. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
