France Gall is a famous French singer. She was born in Paris in October 7, 1947, as Isabelle Gall.

In 1965 she represented Luxemburg in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Poupee de cire, poupee de son, and took first place. In 1988 she topped the pop charts in many countries with Ella, Elle l'a.

She became popular in France during the 1960s, singing songs such as "Les Sucettes" by Serge Gainsbourg and her success crossed over to the UK.
