Biography
Russell graduated from the USC Production Film School. He founded Invisible Children, Inc.
Russell is an evangelist Christian and has spoken about his religion and its relation to his work in a speech at Liberty University. Russell has a son, and a daughter whom he doesn't talk about in the video. On March 15, 2012, Russell was arrested by San Diego police for allegedly being drunk in public and committing lewd acts, including masturbating in public and vandalizing vehicles. Police said Russell appeared to be under the influence and he was detained and taken to a medical facility for treatment.
