Subir Chowdhury (Bengali: সুবির চৌধুরী) (January 12, 1967) is the "leading Quality Expert" hailed by the New York Times , and "the Quality Prophet" by the Business Week, is the chairman and CEO of ASI Consulting Group, LLC, specializing in Six Sigma and Quality Leadership implementation consulting and training. In 2009, The Conference Board Review described him as "an excitable, enthusiastic evangelist for quality". His books have sold more than a million copies and have been translated into more than 20 languages. Chowdhury's clients include global Fortune 100 companies as well as small organizations in both the public and private sectors. His Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) is the first book on the topic and is credited with popularizing the DFSS philosophy worldwide. Chowdhury is the originator of next-generation business management system 'LEO' that has been in use in both private and non-profit organizations. Chowdhury is the founder of Global Quality Awareness, a non-profit movement created to improve the lives of individuals and their communities around the world.
