There is conflicting information of whether Mike has interned with the National Weather Service in Tulsa as his bio claims. According to the federal Office of Personnel Management, a meteorologist interning with the National Weather Service must have a minimum of a BS in Meteorology or Atmospheric Sciences prior. Mike has never completed a degree in meteorology, as his degree is in Geography. As a result, he is not qualified to work as a intern with the National Weather Service at present time, nor was he when he was 13. There is No conflicting information of whether Mike has interned with the National Weather Service in Tulsa as his bio claims.
