The Telenor Culture Award, also known as "Boundless Communications", is an international award which is given annually by Telenor. The award is a part of the Telenor Culture Programme, established in 1995 to underline the values of the company. It is 250,000 kr (NOK) and is awarded by a jury. According to the statutes, the award is given to the individuals, groups and institutions that have contributed substantially to the national or international cultural life.
From 1996 to 2002, the award was dated for the previous year; since 2003, it has been dated for the same year. There is thus no award dated 2002.
The jury for the Telenor Culture Award consists of Kjersti Alveberg (chairman), Shanti Brahmachari, Robert Marc Friedman, Lars Saabye Christensen, Ingrid Kindem, Thorbjørn Harr and Kai Rosenberg.
