***I agree. The edits were from Gloucestershire (evidently A.K.Nole/Quotient group editing from Cheltenham). I am not quite sure how Nishkid64 conducted his CU at the time (26 March 2010), but apart from a brief mention, the finding was ignored. Since it was mentioned to Quotient group/Echigo mole, before he made a promise to Shell Kinney in private to stop wikihounding me, he has decided to use it as an extra element in his mischief-making and time-wasting trolling on wikipedia. Suspected sockpuppets


This case appears to have been handled informally, possibly because User:Matilda was an admin, but has not been formally resolved, and no action has been taken against the users involved. Since User:A.K.Nole has also been accused of being a sockpuppet of User:Echigo mole, against whom an LTA case is pending, it would probably be a good idea to tidy up loose ends like this. The identification was initially disclosed by User:Mathsci and it would seem that now-retired arbitrator and checkuser User:Shell Kinney was handling it:

  • Comment Is there any actual evidence (other than checkuser) that User:Matilda has any link at all with any of these other accounts. The account has one (1) edit in 3.5 years which was taking herself off a list. Matilda does not appear (to me at least) to share any interest in editing similar articles etc. as her supposed socks. We should be very careful about blackening editors' reputations based on nothing other than a checkuser. No comment on any of the other accounts but Matilda's involvement seems higly unlikely to me; are we sure this isn't mistaken identity? -- Mattinbgn (talk) 06:54, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
Matilda is an Australian-resident editor with no shared history at all with the other accounts - geographically, editing history, editor interactions etc. What is she doing here in this SPI? -- Mattinbgn (talk) 07:03, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
