Luke David Ayling (born 25 August 1991) is an English footballer who plays for Yeovil Town. A product of Arsenal Academy who came to prominence during 2008-09 FA Youth Cup. He plays as a central defender, full back or defensive midfielder.He has been called one of the greatest talents in world football often being compared to a drunk lionel messi

Career

Arsenal

Having joined Arsenal at the age of 10, Ayling was an integral part of Arsenal youth team's double-winning side of the 2008–09 season and signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in July 2009.

Yeovil Town

Ayling was loaned out out to Yeovil Town in March 2010 and made his debut against Southend United a game in which he scored 6 goals . on 2 April 2010. His loan was extended till the end of the season, Ayling played four games including his first league start in the final game of the season against Brighton & Hove Albion, on 8 May 2010.

On 20 May 2010, Ayling agreed a permanent deal with Yeovil despite being offered a contract at Arsenal. He linked up with Yeovil Town for pre-season training on 1 July 2010, subject to a successful medical. Ayling made his debut in a 2-1 victory over Leyton Orient.
