Hi Nichalp, I know that you're familiar with the Kerala-Thiruvananthapuram-Kochi debate that's going on. This seems to be affecting other India-related pages as well, since ] uploaded a new map of India with Thiruvananthapuram added (in wrong typeface) to the India article. The map, to begin with is GIF, is incredibly small and lacks any quality whatsoever. Just wondering how the SVG project is coming along, with that we just be able to put an end to all this. Thanks ] 13:53, 25 April 2006 (UTC) | Hi Nichalp, I know that you're familiar with the Kerala-Thiruvananthapuram-Kochi debate that's going on. Hi , After a long debate it was concluded that Trivandrun is indeed the lagest city in Kerala. I was wondering why Trivandrum wasnt figuring in the map provided in India page. I think Trivandrum being the capital of Kerala nd the largest city shown be shown clearly in the map.--] 16:27, 25 April 2006 (UTC) | |||

Re:Review
Hi! I browsed for inter-wiki links. Probably it is covered well. I am not sure about the languages that do not use Roman script!
Embedded references have been cited. Particular facts have not been used from all the reference books listed in the reference. The books from where facts have been cited have been properly wikified. In fact, one or two books in reference (eg Lonely Planet) have not been used at all. Those were added for readers who will be interested in further knowledge. Bangladesh has thoroughly used book references, but Kolkata is largely web-soutcr based.
Ar present, images seem nearly balanced. Though it would have been better with a colour image in "Civic Administration". Do you think B&W image won't do?
Lastly, even now, the activities of Mother Teresa is not mentioned. Where do you think it suits better? "History" or "Demogtaphics"? Or somewhere else? I have added the book reference from where to cite Mother Teresa activities. The book covers many things on Mother Teresa. So reference would not be a problem. Please help! Bye.--Dwaipayanc 20:29, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- Could not but add "Black Hole", as it seems to be a major, non-neglectable event, at least from the most European historians' view. Unfortunately, the Black Hole is not a one-word stuff and needed one sentence to elaborate, leading to further increase in size. Thanks to the section of reference and slight increases in other sections, the size has again come to 41kb, despite erasing some other portions.--Dwaipayanc 13:34, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hi! Thnks for the rapid review of the article. And also, thanks for relocating Mother Teresa properly in the demographics. I am adding the reference to the comment soon. Hope removing black hole won't make other peoples think it as a neglect. I do not have any problem, rather happy that the size got reduced. Am soon making the red wikilinks blue. BYE! Thanks.--Dwaipayanc 07:40, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- Ok. First, a request, please go through the lead once more. Somehow I have a feeling the third paragraph is not a smooth read! Please see.
- Thanks for helping the way out of Black hole problem. If somebody points it out, we'll use the rationale provided by you. We'll reevaluate the external links.
- I'll add a pic of newspaper stall in 1 or 2 days. That's rather easy. However, not sure about the "adda" pic. i shall try. I saw some coloure pic of the coffee house, I have to remember where I saw and see the copyright status. Regarding the Writters' Building image, it's bad. I am looking for a better image. In fact, I have some good color images, but that does not get the building in its eitirety (as does the present B&W one, almost). I am adding reference to 9000 CSW ASAP.--Dwaipayanc 09:36, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hi! I have got hold of a colour image of adda in Coffee House. Waiting for permission from the photographer. Shall upload it soon, hopefully. newspaper stall image should also be done in one or two days. Not sure about the writers' building though. Bye.--Dwaipayanc 19:06, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Regarding Rani Mukerji page
There is constant edit warring on the above-named page. The other users have all assumed good faith with another editor and an anonymous ip editor. The page has been protected by Johnleemk (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) (on my request of intervention) until the dispute is sorted out on the talk page. According to the general consensus, User:Shez 15 and an anonymous IP have been POV pushing on the page. All the editors have assumed good faith but this dispute has not been sorted out yet. Kindly intervene. --Andy123(talk) 13:28, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- Kindly check Talk:Rani Mukerji or click here --Andy123(talk) 14:16, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- I see that you are still online. Could you get into #wikipedia-in for sometime? --Andy123(talk) 14:57, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
DYK
Hi Nichalp -- remember me? I have expanded the Avabai Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy article which you began. I think it would make for a nice DYK, say, "DYK that Avabai Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy entirely funded the construction of the Mahim Causeway, a major throughfare connecting the island city of Bombay with the Indian mainland?" As creator of the page, can you put it up for DYK? Gurubrahma is of course the person who will help in this matter.
Also, there is an article on Bandra, so do you think a separate one for reclaimation is unwarranted? Bandra is not only big but also diverse; think the edge of Dharavi and think bandstand. Regards, ImpuMozhi 16:39, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- I have provided references! How on earth would I know so much about the lady myself? Everything in the page can be sourced to the two weblinks provided. One of them has gone inexplicably dead in these few minutes, but here is the cache.
- I get the point about importance. Furthermore, even in 1845, there must have been a route available through Sion etc., else the brits would certainly have done the needful to connect the city to the mainland. Would you say "....Mahim Causeway, a major throughfare connecting the island city of Bombay with its north-western suburbs" would be better? ImpuMozhi 18:56, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
Talk:Kerala#The_largest_city_in_Kerala
Hi. Could you post a comment on Talk:Kerala regarding the definition of "largest city". There is a dispute there that needs mediation. Thank you. Saravask 18:30, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
CTSFW RfA
Thanks! I anticipated that. If you have some suggestions as to how I can satisfy the objections of the opposers re: breath of experience, I'd appreciate it. If someone want to renominate me at the end of summer, I'll probably allow it and do want to do, within reason, to serve as the voters would like me to serve. --CTSWyneken 09:56, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
Now all right
Hello, Now I am all right. I am pasting a message below explaining my absence. Best regards.
"My dear friends, I regret that I could not notify you about my absence. Actually, I fell sick suddenly on the morning of 3rd April 2006, and was confined to bed and was not allowed Internet access. Now, I am more or less in "shape". The problem was very serious infection. I missed wikipedia and wikipedians for three long weeks, and I feel really sad… for first few days, I even dreamt of wikipedia! I think that in next few days, my wiki-life shall become normal. I thank you for the concern and care, I know wikipedians are the most active virtual community, and Misplaced Pages is Better than the Best." --Bhadani 09:58, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
Suggestion needed
Hi Nichalp,
I feel that since you are an experienced wikipedian, I should first seek your help as to what to do now. The problem I am having is with Hindi Misplaced Pages. The trouble is there are 4 sysos in Hindi Misplaced Pages. Three of them have not edited Hindi Misplaced Pages since September 2005.
- Hemanshu (also a 'crat) - last edit August 2005!
- Shree - last edit September 2005!
- BernardM - last edit September 2005!
Spundun(the only sysop who edits) edits around 10 pages a month with only one edit in this month!
With this deplorable state, it is very difficult to sort out issues in the Hindi Misplaced Pages. Some of us have tried to contact Hemanshu but he doesn't respond to talk pages nor have specified any e-mail address. What do you suggest we should do? -Ambuj Saxena (talk) 13:10, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
The Kerala debate
Hi Nichalp, I know that you're familiar with the Kerala-Thiruvananthapuram-Kochi debate that's going on. Regarding Wikiproject_Indian_districts
Hi,
I am a new wikipedia user. I tried to write this article on my native district.. http://en.wikipedia.org/Birbhum but I am not clear how to upload a Map. I put a Map which may get deleted in 7 days unless I finalize its copyright status. Can you help?
Dont worry about it presently not exactly following the wiki India project format.. I saw that format only now http://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia:Wikiproject_Indian_districts this is where I saw you, and thought of asking for help with the map and ask for other comments. Luckily format of what I wrote is not too different from what is suggested. I need to first compile all the information. I will try to reformat it that way later.
