All I did was add the dates of a DVD release. You'd think I'd knifed the Pope. This is not a place I want to be part of. People complain about cyber bullying on Facebook. It's got nothing on wikipedia. Ban me for life if that's what you want. What a sad bunch of people. All I did was add the dates of a DVD release. You'd think I'd knifed the Pope. Just so MarnetteD & RedRose64 know - and by the way, if anyone is clearly using sock identities it's these two who are blatantly oen and the same editor, as they always edit the same pages and support each other at every step, helping to egg on edit wars at every given opportunity - I edit at which ever computer I happen to be at! I'm not deliberately using 'sock puppets' or any of the other derogatory terms that are being thrown about. I am most certainly not a troll either. If I wanted to hide my IP addresses, I'd just sign up with a fake name just as Red & Marnette have done and cover my tracks. I just sit down and edit wherever I happen to be at the time I want to do it. That's the beauty of wikipedia. Something these two just can't grasp. But I will go on the record and state categorically that user 64.175.39.242 has NOTHING to do with me. Nada. I did not make those edits. Nor do I have any kind of UK IP address to use which is their other accusation. Alas, the spiteful, hate filled editors Red & Marnette have let themselves down with their investigations and bogus statements. No wonder they're being threatened with legal repurcussions.

Poor MarnetteD just doesn't get it. Probably not able to read after all these hours and hours and hours staring at the wikipedia screen. But they're missing the most vital part of my "childish rant", so let's try it again before they remove it for a fourth time:

"I will go on the record and state categorically that user 64.175.39.242 has NOTHING to do with me. Nada. I did not make those edits."

Somehow, MarnetteD is taking that as an ADMISSION of sock puppetry. So very, very sad. ] (]) 23:20, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding or significantly changing content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Katie Boyle, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Misplaced Pages:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Nasnema  Chat  22:05, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Katie Boyle. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Misplaced Pages:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Nasnema  Chat  22:07, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

Nothing significant or controversial about the small edit i made. I was adding a source when you leaped in and reversed the edit before I had a chance. If you could calm down, take a deep breath and contain yourself, giving folks more than 30 seconds to complete their edits, wiki would be a much more pleasant place for everyone.

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Katie Boyle. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. CityOfSilver 22:15, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

Good advice to Nasnema. Let's hope he follows it.

Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Winnie Shaw, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.

You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.--5 albert square (talk) 21:28, 3 November 2011 (UTC)

May 2012

Your recent editing history at List of Doctor Who DVD and Blu-ray releases shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. QU 21:35, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

ANI

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:53, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

Blocked for 12 hours

You have been blocked from editing Misplaced Pages for a period of 12 hours as a result of your disruptive edits to List of Doctor Who DVD and Blu-ray releases. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated. Blocked as of 15:47, 2012 May 16 by Bwilkins (talk | contribs) notice provided by JoeSperrazza (talk) 03:35, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

Please see the apology below. Your edits were correct and have been verified. The administrator who started the edit war is the one who should have been blocked. TVArchivistUK (talk) 17:23, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

Apology

I would like to offer you an apology for the way you have been mistreated by the administrators of wikipedia in the past 24 hours. You correctly made edits to a page that an administrator called RedRose64 then continually reverted. I see that you were then banned from the site and told you had created an edit war. You did not. RedRose64 created the edit war, but as an administrator, they are above criticism or any discipline. You were simply making correct and accurate edits. You even posted the source: Amazon.com. I hope when your ban is lifted you will continue to post. There are many of us who have been bullied and abused by experts who are threatened when we prove our knowledge of subjects to be greater and have been accused of edit wars. Unfortunately, as an administrator, RedRose64 is exempt from any such threats and has the power to ban and block. The wiki police do not police the police. Welcome to the wikipedia community. If you are treated in this way again, feel free to post your edits on my user page. It is a RedRose64 & MarnetteD free zone and I welcome any interesting facts about Dr Who to be posted.TVArchivistUK (talk) 17:22, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
