Demographics of Iraq

Hi. In response to your comment here, I suggest you change the Turkmen people page then, as it has a section about the "Turkmen of Iraq". Also please back up your claims with sources. Thanks. --Khoikhoi 22:24, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

ok. Thanks. I will. :) -- Kaygtr

Thanks. P.S., I know that Turkish and Azeri are mutually intelligible, but does the same go for Turkish and Turkmen? --Khoikhoi 22:53, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

Yes. You can see an example at this forum: http://forum.turkmence.com/viewtopic.php?p=278#278 (Note: this is a Turkist site but don't mind, it is just an example). It is same for Turkish and Turkmen. But for Kyrgyz or Kazakh, it is not. They are different. Also you can take a look at my userpage. I understand Turkmen as a mother language. -- Kaygtr

Ummm, I think your best option would be a neutral source. Neutral Point of View is one of our main policies. Can you try to find any that aren't biased? Also, academic sources would be nice too. Sorry about that. Btw, Tatar is close, too -- right? --Khoikhoi 23:32, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

No no, i know. I just give this source for you, your question. Not for article. Tatar is not so close as Turkmen is. -- Kaygtr

Oh, ok. Thanks. :) --Khoikhoi 23:37, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages:Wikiethics

Hi,

We started a proposal Misplaced Pages:Wikiethics to state the existing policies coherently and make suggestions on improving the editorial standards in Wiki. I thought you might be interested in contributing to that proposal.

Unfortunately, a pro-porn and pro-offense lobby is trying to make this proposal a failure. They unilaterally started an approval poll although almost no one including me believe that it is time for a vote, simply because the policy is not ready. It is not even written completely.

Editors who thinks that it needs to be improved rather than killed by an unfair poll at the beginning of the proposal, started another poll ('Do we really need a poll at this stage?') at the same time. The poll is vandalized for a while but it is stable now. A NO vote on this ('Do we really need a poll now?') poll will strengthen the position of the editors who are willing to improve the policy further.

If you have concerns about the ethics and editorial standards in Wiki, please visit the page Misplaced Pages:Wikiethics with your suggestions on the policy. We have two subpages: Arguments and Sections. You might want to consider reviewing these pages as well...

Thanks in advance. Resid Gulerdem 20:32, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

merhaba

This is a junk email i think. Right? They are teaching how to make a forum for a website. Delete it. - Kaygtr

Sweet. :D Teşekkür ederim, sağol. —Khoikhoi 21:47, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

And i think it can infect your computer with trojans or viruses. - Kaygtr

How do you say "Shit!" in Turkish? —Khoikhoi 21:49, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

By direct translation it means bok, but we use Kahretsin!. - Kaygtr

Ah, thanks again. BTW, you can sign your name like this: - ~~~~ or just like this: ~~~~. See what happens. Oh and, one last question if you don't mind, what does this mean? —Khoikhoi 21:54, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Hehe thanks :) It means that "you contributed much to English Wiki, but i think you should also contribute Turkish Wiki" - Kaygtr 22:00, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
