Alepisauriformes (meaning "lizard form without scales") is an extinct order of fish described by Regan in 1911.

A Russian fossil of Apateodus dates back around 112 million years.

There is a living genus, Alepisaurus (lancetfishes), which used to be classified here, now it is classified in the order Aulopiformes.
