Hello. You recently approved The Last Weekend (British series) at AFC. However, the plot section was actually copied from the series's introduction, presumably written by the production company, as seen here. Please be careful to review AFC drafts for copyright violations in the future--it's an issue particularly because so many of them are promotional, and often contain content copied straight from a company's website. Hi. Actually, pasting into Google is what I do... When I see stuff that seems suspicious (generally overly dramatic and promotional in tone), I'd just take a small chunk and paste it into Google. Usually the rest of the article comes right out. :) I think there was a bot that would patrol new articles for copyvios, but I'm not sure if it's still functioning. coming straight to the point, i have done every thing to authenticate the article facts.
Mentioned all possible sources, but still my article is being rejected.
Although the article also needs work in other areas (formatting and copyediting), the first thing I checked was its references. Misplaced Pages requires an article about a company to have significant coverage (more than one passing mention) in reliable, independent, secondary sources. All the article's references now are press releases, self-published or mentions on websites devoted to advertising. Please try to include significant mention of the channel in newspaper coverage, for example (something more than a channel listing), to indicate its notability for inclusion. I hope this helps. Can you please help me understand why my article is again declined. I added newspaper references and upon reading the guidelines for notable Basketball Players...there were 3 catergories, and he fell under 1 of them.
The article's citation style is inadequate for a BLP. The sourcing requirements for BLPs are stricter than those for other types of articles, and require inline citations for all claims which can be challenged.

We're (very shortly) closing down this development cycle for Page Curation. It's genuinely been a pleasure to talk with you all and build software that is so close to my own heart, and also so effective. The current backlog is 9 days, and I've never seen it that low before.

The October 2012 Copy Edit of the Month Contest is currently in the submissions stage. Submit your best October copy edit there before the end of the month. Submissions end, and discussion and voting begin, on November 1 at 00:00 (UTC).
NEW!! In the week from Sunday 21 October to Saturday 27 October, we are holding a Project Blitz, in which we will copy edit articles tagged with {{copyedit}} belonging to selected project(s). For the first blitz, we'll start with WikiProject Olympics and WikiProject Albums and add more Projects to the blitz as we clear them. The blitz works much like our bimonthly drives, but a bit simpler. Everyone is welcome to take part, and barnstars will be awarded.

I don't understand who is gonna publish about a news channel, other than advertising agency or the agency itself.

WikiProject AFC is holding a one month long Backlog Elimination Drive!
The goal of this drive is to eliminate the backlog of unreviewed articles. The drive is running from October 22, 2012 – November 21, 2012.
Awards will be given out for all reviewers participating in the drive in the form of barnstars at the end of the drive.

I've just written up a new wiki article on asymmetric hydrogenation. I know that that's not an area of expertise for you but I would really appreciate it if you could come by and have a read. I've noticed that I became quite choppy in sections (possibly as I tried to alternate between writing and citing) and while I've tried to fix what I have found a new perspective is always valuable.
Thanks for the help! I have one more question if you don't mind. Do you think that it fits the criteria for a featured article at this point or is there some way that I should improve it so that it does so?

I don't have much experience with featured-article candidates, since I've only been an active editor for a couple of years; I think it's close, but not quite there yet. You may want to list it at WP:WikiProject Chemistry/Peer review and read this. So far it hasn't been assessed at all, and mine is the only comment at peer review. As I mentioned, my chief concern is that it may be too technical (see #7) for FA right now, and I don't know if articles are promoted from unassessed to FA or have to go "through the ranks" to some extent. Pleas note that the Misplaced Pages Manual of Style, in WP:HYPHEN, specifies that "A hyphen is not used after a standard -ly adverb (a newly available home, a wholly owned subsidiary) unless part of a larger compound (a slowly-but-surely strategy)." Anyway. You're getting this note because you've participated in discussion and/or asked for updates to either the Article Feedback Tool or Page Curation. This isn't about either of those things, I'm afraid ;p. We've recently started working on yet another project: Echo, a notifications system to augment the watchlist.
