Klass-Jan-Huntelaar is a Dutch footballer, who plays as a striker for Ajax Amsterdam. He is seen as a rising start in Dutch football, having scored over 30 goals in his first full season in the Eredivisie.
Ajax paid €9 million for the striker, which some see as too much for a player so young. Having obtained 40 goals in total in the 2005-06 season, he is expected to finish in fourth place in the European Golden Boot and play a part in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
