Mario Bilate
I removed your BLP prod of that page since it wasn't an unsourced BLP. Ryan Vesey 03:14, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- The same goes for Miranda Borman and Rishi Bhutani. Please see Misplaced Pages:Proposed deletion of biographies of living people and note that an article must have no sources in any form that support any of the statements. It specifically shows that external links exclude an article from BLP PROD if they support a statement in the article. Ryan Vesey 03:18, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- I wasn't aware that the BLP PROD counted twitter and myspace etc as sources. -- Patchy1 03:22, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not entirely sure whether a twitter source would be adequate, but the only stated requirement for a BLP PROD is that it includes a reliable source, not a third party source. Third party sources are important for establishing notability, BLP-PROD is only to make sure we don't have completely factually incorrect articles. On that note, all of the articles had sources other than twitter and myspace. Ryan Vesey 03:25, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

prod of Michael Trent
Might I ask why you have notified me about this? Clearly, you have looked at the edit history if you have found me, but it seems like you didn't look at my actual edit: , which was the result of a move from Michael Trent to Michael Trend, an MP whose name had been typoed in a redlink. The article remained a redirect until eight years later, when User:Methodacting turned it into a stub about a musician. Perhaps you would do better to talk to notify that user instead about it? Morwen - Talk 11:31, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
- My apologies, this notice was obviously not meant for you. Twinkle automatically notifies the first editor, regardless of the edit. I have not come across this error before. -- Patchy1 11:46, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

Fernando Flávio Marques de Almeida + Jean-Marc Coicaud
Hello, just letting you know I removed the prod from the above articles as I believe the subject could meet the notability guidelines.
Thank you. Rotten regard Softnow 20:03, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
- Notability is not the issue with either article, lack of any sources is. I see you have added a source to Fernando Flávio Marques de Almeida, but Jean-Marc Coicaud is still a completly unsourced BLP, so I have restored the PROD on that article. -- Patchy1 00:39, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

The Bankruptcy and extradition of Michael Mastro
Hi,
On 27 October 2012 you moved this page I created to Michael Mastro with this edit summary:
- This article should be about the person, with the bankruptcy/extradition as a section of that article
I believe that the original name better represents the direction his article is taking (for example bankruptcy issues relating to Linda Mastro). Could you possibly reverse your move? Thanks in advance. Ottawahitech (talk) 00:09, 11 November 2012 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Kelli Harrison
I can feel that it lacked participation but according to me the fourth relist was not required. Usually at AfDs pages are not relisted more than 2 times and in rare cases (where there is a feeling that another last relist can determine a clear outcome) it is relisted 3 times. I've been told by an admin (User:Jenks24) and I've seen another admin's agreement (User:Scottywong) on the same thing. I just came here to ask to not to do a fourth relist in such normal cases. We need more people around the AfDs and I appreciate you being there :) Cheers! TheSpecialUser 01:18, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- Sure thing, I felt they may have been unnecessary after I had committed the edit and then seen them all stacked up like that :) It won't happen again. -- Patchy1 01:21, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

Dieback
HI I noticed you are dab dieback in banksia articles to Forrest dieback thats an incorrect usage. Gnangarra 02:58, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
- the cause of dieback in Western Australia is Phytophthora cinnamomi, not acid rain caused by global warming. please can you go back thru you edits and fix the links to all Western Australian plants Gnangarra 03:01, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

Zack Fucale
Hi Patchy1,
I admit I wasn't aware that I should have had a user move the page. The spelling of the article "Zach Fucale" is correct, and the page "Zack Fucale" should be deleted. I'm sorry for any inconvnience I caused. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Boudreau89 (talk • contribs) 04:01, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
- Not a problem, I have tagged the incorrect spelling for deletion on your behalf. -- Patchy1 04:03, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
Tvigle
I declined your speedy deletion request for this article, as the language used within it does not seem unreasonably promotional to me, as the policies require for speedy deletion. This should not be an obstacle to you taking the article in question to AFD, if you like. -Hit bull, win steak 16:54, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
Susan Froemke
I declined your speedy deletion request for this article, as the article contains a credible assertion of notability regarding the article's subject (i.e. Froemke's status as the director of a notable film). If you would like to take it to AFD, please feel free to do so.
As a side note, I would encourage you to wait longer before nominating articles for speedy deletion. You nominated this one literally one minute after it was created, which seems unreasonably quick for what is, after all, a work in progress. Please be more patient next time, to avoid biting other editors. Thanks! -Hit bull, win steak 17:07, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
- Upon further review, I would discourage you from nominating the article for deletion via AFD, since Ms. Froemke apparently won a Grammy Award in 2002, and as such seems to easily clear notability standards. Please try to be more careful with your nominations next time. -Hit bull, win steak 17:22, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
Dima Tkachenko
Hello! I don't know why do you want to del this article. You cut my text 3 time. But i take this info from official website tkachenko.net. u write that this text is copyright of Ukrainian music fest. but it is not true! Please insert correct text back. and don't delete this article. This violinist one of the most popular in Ukraine and Europe, like Hillary Hahn for example. and it should be on wiki. And by the way, it is not my first article!!

- Please add new sections to the bottom of talk pages
- I made two edits to your article, the first was nominating for deletion for being not notable, the second was adding maintenance tags. Please check the page history - I think this should have been directly partially at User:Sarahj2107, they are who added the coppyright violation tag. -- Patchy1 23:07, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

Be careful
Hello Patchy1!
Please be careful before hitting PROD or CSD tags on articles; especially when there is a claim of notability. I refer to your recent deletion requests of award winning director Susan Froemke, beauty contest winner Amrita Thapar and multi-film and television actor Karan Patel. Try Google once before asking for deletion. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 04:14, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Addition of CSD G8 to Mark hodkinson
I have a question: why did you add CSD G8 to Mark hodkinson? The page is not really dependent on the deleted Mark Hodkinson, and can stand alone. G8 is usually reserved for redirects whose page was deleted, or talk pages of deleted pages. Vacation 01:59, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hello, I do know what the G8 rationale is, my edit summary for the change should have explained it. If Mark Hodkinson wasn't deleted then Mark hodkinson would have been a redirect to it because they were about the same person and the only main difference was the lack of capital letter. I thought since the other page had already been deleted and this page was already tagged with the other rationales that this would be simpler, and my edit summary would have explained my reasoning, instead of blanking the page (to a redirect) which may have looked suspicious and would potentially involve more work for the admin who deleted it. So while on the outside G8 clearly did not apply to the article, in the big picture it does. I can assure you all was done in good faith, and I hope that explains my changes. -- Patchy1 05:30, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- Oh ok, I get it. Thanks for the explanation! Vacation 05:33, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Notability of Sevan Bicakci
Why would notability be an issue with Sevan Bicakci when he has been awarded with so many awards and has the clientele of famous celebrities throughout the world.
--Anonymous (talk) 03:37, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
- Please add new discussions under a new heading.
- Firstly notability is not inherited nor does it rub off from someone who is notable. Secondly I wouldn't call four awards (three being the same award) and a nomination, "so many awards", also the awards themselves don't appear notable from the context in the article. So I'm not saying that the subject or the awards are or are not notable, all I am saying is that for someone unfamiliar with subject (me included), the notability is not clear given the current content of the article. And basically that is what the
{{notability}}
tag is for, it points out that more work needs to be done to establish notability. Thanks. -- Patchy1 03:47, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
Poptropica Adventures
After the Poptropica Adventures page was deleted because the synopsis I put there was copyrighted content, I figured that it might not have been deleted if I had not added copyrighted content. Also, I think that it's subject still has a place here and there is no reason, at least in my opinion, not to have a page dealing with this video game. So, I was wondering if it would be okay for me to recreate the page, without the copied synopsis and with more content written by myself? -- Portyot70000 (talk) 21:24, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- I would suggest using the article wizard and submitting it through articles for creation. -- Patchy1 23:05, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Pathcy, thank you for your assistance. I just submitted a 3RR report but it's not showing up on the page (I'm #14). What am I doing wrong? Please provide some feedback. Many thanks! --XLR8TION (talk) 01:06, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hello! I have fixed the problem. As far as I could see you were doing nothing wrong in terms of formatting (strictly speaking), the previous editor had forgotten to put
{{hab}}

Tom Moore page
I think this set a new record -- having a submission marked for deletion before I'd even hit the save button. Whatever you did to mark the page for deletion overwrote everything I've been doing for the past hour -- I wasn't even able to copy the material from the main page into my sandbox so I could fiddle with it. This is the sort of thing that drove me away from contributing to Misplaced Pages for a few years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thmoore (talk • contribs) 02:52, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- I'm sorry you lost your content. Next time I would suggest creating and regularly saving a draft of your work in your own userspace, so a history is kept should your work be lost. -- Patchy1 02:57, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
CSD G3
I'd have tagged ELESTOR as a G3, but the Elevator safety association seems to exist based on a google search, hence the PROD. Though I agree that it doesn't seem that the newsletter exists. Go Phightins! 03:03, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
- I agree, I found the organisation but no mention of the newsletter, even if it did exist I can't imagine it passing WP:N. The term for elevator/escalator appears to be made up. -- Patchy1 03:06, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
