Soon victim was rushed to safdurgang hospital in nearly dead condition.“It appears to be that a rod was inserted into her and it was pulled out with so much force that the act brought out her intestines... The 2012 Delhi bus rape case refers to the incident where a 23 year old physiotherapy student was gang raped in Delhi. The incident sparked widespread protests and dissent across the country. The six men accused were arrested in Delhi,Bihar and Rajasthan. The accused were to be charged with an Attempt to murder. It was later announced that the victims condition was deteriorating. She was traveling with a male friend who was attacked and thrown out of the bus. On Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit's suggestion, five fast track courts were approved to try rape cases.
