The Globe Soccer Awards is an annual association football award given by Globe Soccer to the best player of year in the world.
History
- In December 2010, during the closing gala, the Audi Football Night, the winners of the Globe Soccer Awards were announced:
- Best Director – Miguel Ángel Gil, (Atlético Madrid)
- Special Career Award – Adriano Galliani, (AC Milan)
- Best Agent – Jorge Mendes
- In December 2011, the awards were to:
- Best team of the year – FC Barcelona
- Best player of the year – Cristiano Ronaldo, (Real Madrid)
- Player’s career – Alex Del Piero, (Juventus)
- Best Director – Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, (F.C. Porto)
- Greatest media attraction in football – Cristiano Ronaldo, (Real Madrid)
- Best Agent – Jorge Mendes
- In December 2012, ten awards will be awarded in the categories:
- Best team of the year – Club Atlético de Madrid
- Best player of the year – Radamel Falcao, (Atlético Madrid)
- Player’s career – Eric Abidal, (FC Barcelona)
- Best player of the Century – Diego Armando Maradona
- Best agent of the year – Jorge Mendes
- Agent’s career – Rob Jansen
- Best coach of the year – José Mourinho, (Real Madrid)
- Best goal scorer of the UAE – Hassan Mohamed, (Dubai CSC)
- Greatest media attraction in football – José Mourinho, (Real Madrid)
