Your addition to Islamic Development Bank has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Misplaced Pages without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Misplaced Pages. For legal reasons, Misplaced Pages cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Darkness Shines (talk) 13:25, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
- Dear Darkness Shines, The annual report is not copyrighted as the information is released to the public domain by the Islamic Development Bank for the viewing of the general public. The WP:PD states that the public domain material is material “that were released into the public domain by the copyright holder”. On that basis, I believe that information can be included on the Misplaced Pages article. As a newcomer, I’d say the following are relevant: Misplaced Pages:Please do not bite the newcomers and WP:AGF. It will help to have a constructive discussion instead of the deletion, as information needs to be added to the Islamic Development Bank wikipage.
- I will reverse your deletions and include the above discussion at the IDB talk page
- I would strongly advise against reverting copyrighted content into Misplaced Pages. Darkness Shines (talk) 20:58, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
- Darkness Shines, Please state why you think it is copyrighted. As a newcomer, I have the right to know. Misplaced Pages:Civility states "Explain yourself". Tariqmia (talk) 21:15, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

The Arbitration Committee has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions (information on which is at Misplaced Pages:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions) on any editor who is active on pages broadly related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Misplaced Pages, satisfy any standard of behavior, or follow any normal editorial process. If you continue to misconduct yourself on pages relating to this topic, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The Committee's full decision can be read at the "Final decision" section of the decision page. Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Misplaced Pages:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions, with the appropriate sections of Misplaced Pages:Arbitration Committee/Procedures, and with the case decision page before making any further edits to the pages in question. This notice is given by an uninvolved administrator and will be logged on the case decision, pursuant to the conditions of the Arbitration Committee's discretionary sanctions system.
