Please feel free to leave "talk" here, but please do not revert or edit OTHER PEOPLE'S messages. In general, I clear out the old stuff every few months.

WTF?
Why are you being antagnostic with other editors, insulting them in Talk, accusing them of sockpuppetry, and labeling their edits vandalism when they're not? Cut out the personal attacks. If you believe others are using sockpuppets, bring it up here. If you believe someone is repeatedly engaging in vandalism, report it here. ElKevbo (talk) 23:19, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- I don't appreciate you're rude and aggressive attitude, and it is really quite unacceptable that you are STALKING me and my Misplaced Pages activity. It is entirely unacceptable. Please stop. =//= Johnny Squeaky
- Hello. There is currently a discussion at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Madcoverboy (talk) 03:55, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
January 2013
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Cornell University. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Drmies (talk) 17:14, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- You have a clear COI on this issue, and if you "ban" me I will make a complaint as to that. You need to step back and let a different Admin handle this.
- I’m sorry, but you seem really quite angry. Your edit comments are very aggressive. You need to resist the urge to change Misplaced Pages articles based on personal feelings. One wonders if perhaps you are a Yale guy, or perhaps were rejected by Cornell, or maybe you just don’t like these “snooty” Ivy League schools? Whatever the case may be, the combination of your comments and your edits indicate a POV that may be inappropriate as the basis of edits on this article. As well, I’m thinking that eventually you will use your “Admin” rights to push your POV. This would be a clear COI, and not a particularly honest thing to do. =//= Johnny Squeaky 17:19, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

- Johnny, it seems to me that you might be operating with some fundamental misunderstandings about this project, and I fear that the situation is escalating against you. It probably a good time to back up, and reflect on the community and consensus nature of Misplaced Pages as a whole. For example, a warning by anyone (including an admin) is not a threat nor is it a personal attack. Being told to follow Misplaced Pages's rules is also not a personal attack - have a quick glance at this clarifying document. You seem to be making things difficult on yourself by picking the strangest fights with people who are simply trying to guide you. Please discuss, not revert
Johnny, right now, you're engaged in a content dispute and unfortunately are edit warring over it, which can result in being blocked. I would urge you to, rather than edit war over it, discuss it with your fellow editors to attain consensus. It seems that the consensus is against you right now, so all you're doing by edit warring over it is escalating the problem. Misplaced Pages does have a dispute resolution process that you're welcome to follow, but in this case, since five others disagree with you, I would suggest you let it go and move on. Thanks again, and don't hesitate to let me know should you have any questions. Thank you. Go Phightins! 17:45, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
