Please bear these points in mind while editing Misplaced Pages

The Misplaced Pages tutorial is a good place to start learning about Misplaced Pages. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Please be aware of Requests for arbitration/Armenia-Azerbaijan 2 before making further reverts. Please bear in mind that the article Azerbaijani people is covered by arbitration ruling, and admins can place editors who make excessive reverts on editing restrictions. Thanks. February 2013

Hello, I'm TheSuave. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Zaza people, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Suave 15:49, 27 February 2013 (UTC)

It appears that your edits were deleting citations, which registered as removal of content, however, having looked at the references, one of them is in a foreign language, and other is a dead link. The Joshua Project citation is not reliable, so I now agree with your previous edit and will be undoing my reversion. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Suave

Warning for Buyid dynasty

I see you are determined to remove Kurd/Kurdish from the Buyid dynasty. Your last removal was under the guise of adding a source for Daylamite origin and can be considered disruptive editing along with the false edit summary. If you remove Kurd/Kurdish from the article again without consensus, I will report you for disruptive editing. --Kansas Bear (talk) 18:33, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Reported

You were warned. You have been reported. --Kansas Bear (talk) 21:59, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

HistoryofIran, your edits are being discussed by administrators. See WP:ANI#Disruptive editing on Buyid dynasty. You may respond there if you wish. If you don't stop reverting at Buyid dynasty it is likely you will be blocked from editing. EdJohnston (talk) 06:11, 2 March 2013 (UTC)

March 2013

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Buyid dynasty. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Dawn Bard (talk) 22:04, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Unusual edit at Zaza people

This edit of yours appears to remove a lot of sources from the article. The Zazas have been a topic of dispute here on Misplaced Pages for a long time. Your edit summary was "Stop right there, I say it again: The Zazas are not Kurds, it even says in the wiki that they are not Kurds, just because some think themselves as Kurds doesn't mean that they are". I hope I don't have to explain all the problems with that edit summary. You have decided that it's up to you to say whether the Zazas are Kurds? That whether the Zazas self-identify as Kurds is of no interest? You're getting close to WP:Tendentious editing. Please join the article talk page and explain your reasoning calmly. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 17:18, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
