:Sure. I'd disabled that particular setting in Twinkle because I'd noticed that copyrighted or other problem material is often posted more than once, in multiple pages in userspace (i.e. not only the main user page but also the sandbox, and sometimes user talk page itself), and didn't want to leave multiple iterations of what is essentially the same automated Twinkle message. I'll make sure that I give the proper notification when tagging for copyright violation. ''']]]''' 01:14, 3 April 2013 (UTC) :Sure. Captain Scarlet Reception

Hi SuperMarioMan, long time no speak. I hope you are well? Just found that on a website called Don Of Geek they recently written an article on what they considered The Top Ten Captain Scarlet Episodes and I was wondering whether this could be considered as being a reliable source for reception on the pages. I’m also attempting to bring the Supercar page up to scratch.

Jcamts (talk) 11:55, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi SuperMarioMan, my summer was very good thanks. The Unorthodox Shepherd I think is bordering on a Good-Article, but probably needs more in the way of reception. I was quite interested to hear Ken Turner did commentary on the episode, which can be found on the American Boxset. I wondered whether anything there could be held as reception? I was also quite disappointed when I saw Don of Geek, didn't list The Trap. I'm always looking out for anything on that episode.
I personally am thinking of tackling some of The Prisoner episodes, as I'm a big fan of the series.

Hello,

i noticed you edited a Mixed Martial Arts page in August, but you haven't listed yourself as a Participant on the Wikiproject for Mixed Martial Arts pages. I've decided to try to drum up interest to get more people involved!

Disambiguation link notification for September 20

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Replaceable fair use File:Sunflower and silver, scratchboard art Nov 2012.jpg

Hello, I recieved a notice that you will be removing two images I added to an article about the medium scratchboard. http://en.wikipedia.org/Scratchboard I am not real computer savy so I may have made a mistake while entering the art, but I am the creator of the art submitted, and it is in a book I wrote that was published June 2012. I don't understand why I cannot enter my own artwork. Thank you for your time, Diana Lee (Dianalee47)Dianalee47 (talk) 07:14, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

Images for articles under construction

Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to advise of Misplaced Pages image use allowances. I have uploaded two logos for pages I am currently writing but am not ready to move to the Misplaced Pages mainspace yet. Is there something I can do in the meantime to preserve the image on Misplaced Pages, or do I need to create the pages in question before the logos are removed? Anything Bofors40mm created

I noticed that you seem to have questioned every image that I have recently posted relating to Sparrow Force, Kanose POW Camp, and so forth. I am the creator of those images and acquired them from publicly available documents. I researched those images as part of my book that will be released in February 2013. You'll also find them on my Youtube page at www.youtube.com/grantmcl. You are the first to have menaced me this way. I hope that you are the last. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bofors40mm (talkcontribs) 11:41, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Being publicly available and "free" does not equal being free of copyright. The images are not yours to do with as you please unless there are explicit rights granted by the image owners. I hope you have a good editor for your book lest you run afoul of the law.

Endriartono Sutarto Image

Dear SuperMarioMan,

I'm a newbie in Misplaced Pages. About your comments in my page, i would like to explain something about File:Endriartono_Sutarto.png, File:Endriartono_Sutarto_Wanadri.jpg and File:Endriartono_Sutarto_Commander_of_TNI.jpg

I would like to give a license for all the photos CC-BY-SA 3. But I can not find any information about this when uploaded the photos. That's why i choose a Non-free use rationale

Could you tell me, where i can find the button for that? What should I do now to replace the license for the photos?

Update

I just uploaded all the photos to the Commons Misplaced Pages. Because all the licences this photos are CC-BY-SA. So, How can i add photos from Commons Misplaced Pages to En.Misplaced Pages.org?

Seconded - particularly for finding old attack pages. Have you considered adminship?  An optimist on the run! 19:43, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

+1 DGG ( talk ) 23:52, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

btw, some of what you have been tagging as hoaxes aren't exactly hoaxes. A young person writing a page to see how soon WP will delete it, or saying how awesome they are in extravagant terms, is really more of a test page, & I've been deleting them as such. I don't want the record to show we're according them such importance as to use G3. DGG ( talk ) 06:21, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

I was about to say what DGG said, many times they are test pages. Secret 06:26, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

I agree with the RFA, you should consider adminship. You are highly qualified, and clearly need the tools for a purpose. My main focus with my tools is to delete AFC junk as well, but we can use more extra eyes on it, especially that I'm going to be semi-active for the next few months so I could focus on my senior thesis. Thanks Secret 16:00, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

I just came over here to barnstarificate you for some top-notch weeding of old AFCs, but I see others have gotten here first. Well, I second (third) the above commendations, and also look forward to supporting you in an admin bid sometime soon. Yunshui  11:34, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Articles for creation hoaxes

Hello, SuperMarioMan. I have just deleted several Articles for Creation submissions which you tagged for speedy deletion as hoaxes. Every one of your speedy deletion nominations was perfectly valid. However, an old AfC page that was declined years ago, and probably forgotten about by everybody, does no harm, and checking and deleting dozens of them takes up administrators' time that could be spent on more important matters. You may like to consider whether it's worth bothering to carry on tagging such pages, or whether it would be better to just leave them. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:33, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

Hey SuperMarioMan; I'm dropping you this note because you've used the article feedback tool in the last month or so.
