To my knowledge, emigrate is to leave, immigrate is to move to a new place, so someone emigrates from Poland to England, but leaves Poland to immigrate to England.{{diff|Barbara Walters|554838004&oldid=554836204}} The example sentences used are "Each year many people emigrate from Europe." and "There are many inducements to immigrate to South America." ] (]) 19:40, 13 May 2013 (UTC)
