Regarding my RfA

I do not know whether you are familiar with the admin stuff, but from my experience, this might turn out a disappointing exercise for you. You have hardly any edits in the wikipedia space, which is not a good sign, and your overall number of edits is probably to low for many editors to support you. -- Kim van der Linde 18:53, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Well, in that case, good luck and do not be disappointed. -- Kim van der Linde 19:05, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks! I have a very happy disposition, I am not easily offended. HighInBC 19:10, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

I suggest you withdrawl your request for adminship as explained in my reason. ForestH2

At worst I will recieve critism I can use to improve myself. I am going to go through it HighInBC 18:55, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

If you want criticism & opinions from other editors, I suggest you go to Misplaced Pages:Editor review. RFA's sometimes have the tendency to turn into lynchings & disheartens editors, sometimes causing them to leave. We wouldn't want that to happen to a fine upcoming wiki-editor like you. Srikeit 19:13, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Ahh, I may just do that later. As for the RfA, I am sure critisms will be based on facts and inform me. HighInBC 19:15, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Hello. I was sorry to oppose, as you appear to be a good editor, and your reaction to the Rfa has been very level headed. I would sugest continuing as you are, and also getting some experience contributing in WP:AFD, WP:DRV and WP:RFA, as well as watching WP:AIV and WP:RPP, to see what's involved. The reason I commented on the edit wars is that admins don't have the luxury of avoid conflict, their job includes making decisions that cannot please everyone, so knowing how they deal with critism and tough decisions is important. That said, avoiding conflict by dialoge is a great trait, and if you came back with more experience in the many area of wikipedia, I would easily support. Regards, MartinRe 21:16, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Excellent, I will certainly try again later should I fail this time<grin>. HighInBC 23:02, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

Thank you

Thanks!

For reverting my user page. :D Ekrub-ntyh 18:02, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

No problem, he did the same thing to me, I notified an admin and the user was banned indefinetly. HighInBC 18:05, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

I can't help but think there is a bias..

Do you know my position on Pot? As a Libertarian I can't support someone's use of air born toxin for pure selfish enjoyment, and I think you know this position. Perhaps one of the Paul Geddes guys?

Reagrds,

Gölök Zoltán Leenderdt Franco Buday "To My Fellow-Citizens of the United States of America

I put the following work under your protection. It contains my
opinion on religion. You will do me justice to remember that I have always
strenuously supported the right to his own opinion, however different that
opinion may be to mine. He who denies another this right makes a slave of
himself to his present opinion, because he precludes himself the right of
changing it." -- Thomas Paine, The Age Of Reason. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gzlfb (talkcontribs)
I know nothing of your opinions on pot. I would also point out that no evidence of the toxicity of pot smoke exists. I do not know Paul Geddes. I do not know you. I am not American, I am Canadian. I have not acted with bias, nor have I accused you of bias. I do not oppose your article on any personal grounds. I have simply made you aware of wikipedia policies and how they directly relate to your article. Please do not see me as somebody out to get you, I make it my goal to help people new to wikipedia. I am not involved with your enemies, nor would I allow them to influence my writing here if I were. I hope this settles this matter. HighInBC 19:15, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

sorry

I in no way intended vandalism. I am new to Misplaced Pages editing, I am still learning it.

Zaphlon

I was unsure of your actions becuase you did not leave an edit summery. This lets people know what your intentions are when you do something. HighInBC 03:45, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Luckyherb

Hi, About the Sean Avery article, i did not write that, I mistakenly reverted to an unclean version. Thanks for picking it up and fixing it. However i would appreciate it if you would remove the test1 warning from may talk page, since i do not deserve it and i can not remove it myself (as that really would be vandalism lol). Cheers. Luckyherb 03:57, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Of course. HighInBC 03:58, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
