== Mediating Disputes Over "La Ciudad Blanca" ==
I'd like to ask if you'd be willing to mediate disagreements that I'm having with another Misplaced Pages editor over the article on ], one that falls under the WikiProject Central America for its content about Honduras. The other editor and I have been going back and forth in edit wars for the past few weeks. Although we thought we'd reached an understanding, it hasn't worked. Most of the debates appear on the talk page for the article, although some also appear on each of our user talk pages. My principal complaints are that: 1) his editing of the article has been based heavily upon a popular magazine article, not reliable scholarly sources; and 2) that he continues to revert a large number of what I consider to be improvements to the article. He has accused me of inserting a personal POV, while I have denied that and have countered that in fact what is happening his that ''he'' is editing the article to reflect ''his'' POV. Ideally, the article should be as neutral, correct, and factual as possible as well as being based on reliable sources. Any help on this article from someone experienced with Honduras and especially the history, folklore, and archaeology of Honduras would be greatly appreciated. ] (]) 20:50, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

La Paz, Honduras

Could someone with local knowledge please check La Paz, Honduras, (not Bolivia). It has been vandalised a number of time in the last week or so, no longer sure what is correct.--Traveler100 (talk) 09:40, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

Request for Feedback: Gender Equality in El Salvador

Template:WAP assignment The current information on El Salvador does not address women’s rights in the country. For a class that I am in, I will be posting a new article entitled, “Gender Equality in El Salvador.” The article will discuss women in El Salvador, with the main sections being legal rights, politics, employment, domestic life, education, health care, and crimes against women. It will look at current figures from the Human Development Index, as well as present views from academia on moving forward. With high rates of violence against women, including femicides, the article is needed to shed light on gender inequality in El Salvador. I would appreciate any feedback on the proposed article, as well as any guidance on finding feminist academic sources that are relevant to the country.

Please give feedback:Gender Equality in Honduras

Template:WAP assignment There is not currently a page that covers the gender inequality in Honduras. I am currently doing research and gathering ideas on how I can best contribute to remedy this problem. The topics that I wish to cover are as follows: Reproductive health, empowerment, economic activity, women's participation in the labor force, employment segregation, gender wage disparity and educational attainment. Any feedback advice or information would be greatly appreciated. My main goal for right now is to expand the sources that I have on the topic or perhaps even a different search engine. I have been using google scholar, but I seem to be having a problem that the majority of sources that catch my eye must be purchased. Any help on that front would be appreciated.

Most scholarly papers will be subscription only, available from such sources as JSTOR, Cambridge Journals etc. - if you find something that would help developing your articles, post a request, with link at the Resource Exchange - they've helped me a great deal in the past. Ernesto Perez Balladares

I'm working to bring the article on Panamanian president Ernesto Perez Balladares up to GA status. Unfortunately, most English-language sources I've found focus only on his presidency; I've had difficulty finding other biographical facts like the date of his marriage, whether he has any children, or his post-presidency career, in my clumsy Google Translate searches of Panamanian newspapers. Are there any Spanish speakers here who would be willing to lend a few minutes to help round out these aspects of the article? I'd be glad to split the GA credit with you, of course. You can see the GA review here.
