The gatekeeper of innocence is known as RA Steve, ensuring residents remain chaste.

== Jack Stephenson ==
Jack Stephenson was the treasurer of the debateably successful Farrer Hall Society in 2005. He loves to spend time in his bedroom writing reciepts and completing audits and ], a skill which will be handy in his future career as a mechatronic engineer. Jack is probably best known for his poor coordination and inability to properly articulate sentences, particularly in the ] language.

== Brenton Cruickshank ==
Brenton, more commonly known as '''Shanks''', is renouned for his extraordinary abilities as a disc-jockey, spinning up records quicker than you can say 'whosyourdaddy' at some of the most popular Farrer Hall functions. Shanks has taken this role to heart, recently investing in a new decked-out, wog-approved, super-woofer system outputting some 'vibrations' throughout the 1st commons floor. In his previous occupation at Shanks' Pool Cleaning services, he received a merit for outstanding performance in cleaning the deepest of pipes.

== Thursday Night ==
It is a proud Farrer tradition, that at the ending of the day which be-called Thursday, the masses head to the Nott for random shenanagans which are generally involve the consumption of alcohol. The night usually comes to end with a series of stolen Nott glasses, fornication amoungst drunks, and potentially vomiting.

== Tuesday Night ==
A recent, yet somewhat popular addition to the Farrer lifestyle, Tuesdays will find people from all over Farrer heading down to nightclub in the suburb of Hawthorn. Whether ones taste in music is House, Pop or even a bit of old school Retro, one will have a great time at '''room'''. Tuesday is the pick of the week at this top venue, with a 50/50 chance of free drinks each time one stumbles their way to the bar.

== The Stages of a Night Out ==
Invisaged by a group of ferrets during a Thursday night at the Nott, these chronologically mobile stages allow the memories of a night to be referred to in speech by the activities undertaken at the time. Although they have been slow to be picked up by many residents, supposedly because of the complexity of the system ("twice around the baseball field"), the architects still remain optimistic of the potential of the stages to become entrenched in the local vocabulary.

*Stage One - Eating (essential to ensure a safe night of alcoholic consumption)
*Stage Two - Showering and getting changed
*Stage Three - MakeUp and Accessories (skipped by many males)
*Stage Four - dedicated to predrinking
*Stage Five - BEING OUT
*Stage Six - getting home and getting into bed (amazingly while the rest of the night can be a great experience, it is possible to spontaneously lose memory until the next morning, known as 'failing stage six')
*Stage Seven - the recovery (a bad hangover would be evidence of a failure of stage seven)
*Stage Eight - cleaning up the room (that somehow seems to have been hit by a hurricane in the wild preparations, sometimes complicated by the invasion of ants exploiting spilt predrinks around the room)

This recent new addition to Farrer Hall entertainment arrived from bush league central, and is made up of a single bicycle wheel at its front end, and two slider plastic wheels at the rear. It has the ability to provide residents with hours long of drunken fun and enjoyment, with an injury or two on the side. Residents take part in a daily drifting ritual down a sharp, rigid slope placing their lives in potentially deadly situations.

Farrer Hall is a Hall of Residence at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. It has a reputation for being one of the most adventurous halls at Monash. Farrer is divided into two buildings, Commons and Lords, with an annex to Commons called Chastity.
