Comrade Wolf refers to a Russian Joke, were Rabinovick (an archetypal Russian Jew, often an otkaznik (refusenik), who is refused permission to emigrate to Israel), & his sheep are going into the woods. They end up falling into a pit that is very deep. A few moments later a wolf falls into the pit. The sheep that are scared do to the arival of the wolf start bleating.
