I find the community ban on this user to be a violation of all that Misplaced Pages stands for--expressn, and sharing of knowledge. Saladin has obviously attempted to overcome that fact that he is a new user, and the fac that he took the time to read through all of the Misplaced Pages Policies to put in his above statement is enough to tell me that he seriously wants to be a contributor. | I find the community ban on this user to be a violation of all that Misplaced Pages stands for--expressn, and sharing of knowledge. If we are going to ban every nrw user who is trying to figure out how the (very complex) machine that is Misplaced Pages works, here will we be? ] ] 21:07, 30 May 2006 (UTC) | If we are going to ban every nrw user who is trying to figure out how the (very complex) machine that is Misplaced Pages works, here will we be? ] ] 21:07, 30 May 2006 (UTC) | ||

From my VERY unscientific finds, I do believe, for what little its worth that Saladin1970 does bring an AGENDA to this project and that concerns me. I went back to his contributions and tried to edit the articles he was working on and only added two(2) books to the ] article. I could not SOURCE that ] was of Jewish descent. If this can be SOURCED it should be added into the article, imo, but I couldn't do that. The ] article I wouldn't even touch. <strike>Also, for being a new, this user is VERY quick to go to arbitration and moves around with great ease</strike>. I hate to assume non-good faith so I'll strike that last part. If this user could work on non-contraversial topics or get a mentor, ect that would be good. Like I said, just some distant ramblings....Thanks --] 17:12, 5 June 2006 (UTC) |

This statement has been copied from User talk:Saladin1970 by Fred Bauder. My comment to Saladin and his reply were made there. They have also been copied, which is why I appear to have put an indented comment in the middle of someone else's RfAR statement. --Sam Blanning 12:44, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

From my VERY unscientific finds, I do believe, for what little its worth that Saladin1970 does bring an AGENDA to this project and that concerns me. I went back to his contributions and tried to edit the articles he was working on and only added two(2) books to the Alan Hart article. I could not SOURCE that Harold Shipman was of Jewish descent. If this can be SOURCED it should be added into the article, imo, but I couldn't do that. The Zionism article I wouldn't even touch. Also, for being a new, this user is VERY quick to go to arbitration and moves around with great ease. I hate to assume non-good faith so I'll strike that last part. If this user could work on non-contraversial topics or get a mentor, ect that would be good. Like I said, just some distant ramblings....Thanks --Tom 17:12, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
