Melanie Williams sang on the hit record "Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use)" alongside the Manchester dance outfit Sub Sub (who later became Doves). Apparently she was a friend of the trio and they were all pleasantly surprised when it became such a hit.

The Other Two album Superhighways, also featured Melanie Williams on some tracks as a guest vocalist.
