I'll be very busy this week, and I'm getting tired of all the endless arguing, so I probably won't be very active this week. Mostly maintenance type stuff.

About Serge
Hello everyone, I'm Serge, and I'm an Admin here on the English Misplaced Pages. Feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if there's anything you'd like to discuss with me.
On the Admin side, I'd be happy to at least hear you out with your various questions/issues/requests. If I can help you, I will, and even if I can't, I may be able direct you to a person or place that can. Just keep in mind that if it's regarding a conflict you're involved in, there could be the possibility that you may be at fault as well.
On the content side of things, I'd be happy to help as well. My main interests are areas of video games and rock music, usually from the 1990's to the present. I especially enjoy ones that clearly meet Misplaced Pages's standard of notability, but tend to fly under the typical mainstream radar. (I'd be much more likely to know about, and be working on, a topic like Ragnarok Tactics than Call of Duty, or Lo-Pro over Nickelback, but that being said, I'm usually at least somewhat knowledgeable in both.)
Anyways, if I haven't lost your interest yet, below is some more information about my editing:

Background
I originally discovered Misplaced Pages as a source of looking up information many years back. The part that really got me interested in actually editing and contributing though, was the realization of how influential Misplaced Pages is. When something is searched for on search engines like Google, Misplaced Pages articles are almost always the first hit. Not only that, but there are countless other websites that either mirror or use the information all over the internet as well. Realizing how much of this information is made so widely and readily available, it motivated me to want to contribute to areas I was knowledgeable about, and/or willing to research.
From that, I moved on to the major revamping of articles, rewriting articles that are typically complete messes, almost blank, or in-danger of being deleted. Some are ones that I loved from my childhood, like Ristar, that no one ever seemed to put any work into, where as others are articles in danger of being deleted at AFD. (Though don't get me wrong, I vote for Delete frequently as well, and some articles just aren't notable; it just depends on the article.)
And from that, I moved into taking it a step further and creating new articles, again, usually semi-obscure articles that no one ever put any effort into -- Earthworm Jim (PSP), is one of my favorite examples of this.
Anyways, I don't tend to get real fancy and make WP:GA and featured articles, as my attention is usually diverted to something else before I get that far, and I prefer just getting them closer to B Class, where they are well-written and referenced enough for the general masses to understand and enjoy.
