::It has been enjoyable; but vicious - really offensive, aggressive and nasty - anonymous personal attacks as a result of seven edits I carried out on a vanity biography aren't such fun, and I think I'd rather not participate any more. If I want to be attacked or participate in arguments and name-calling there are more than enough opportunities available here in real life without having to search for them on Misplaced Pages. To all the experienced editors who have responded to comments, given me advice or shown me how to do various tasks - thank you. - I started editing Misplaced Pages a year ago because I thought it was a great concept, and because it appeared to be a brilliant way to record and publish information that conventional encyclopaedias and online sources omit or ignore about my country in particular and the continent of Africa in general.
