Attention:

This IP address, 212.135.1.185, is registered to Easynet UK and is shared by multiple users. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts will be made to contact Easynet UK to report abuse.

If you are an DICKHEAD operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. However, you will still be unable to edit Misplaced Pages while the IP you are using is blocked.

Scott MacDonald

Someone using this IP address created a long article at Scott MacDonald, which seems to be entirely about Lev Davidovich Bronstein, alias Leon Trotsky. Creating a mis-titled article such as this is a very bad idea. It may have been a simple mistake, but if done intentinally it is a form (and a rather odd form) of vandalism. The above article has been marked for speeedy deletion. Please be careful about titles when creating articles. DES 14:55, 29 September 2005 (UTC)
