Welcome to the talk page of Iselilja Hopefully we can have polite, pleasant and constructive discussions here. I will reply on this page, unless you ask otherwise or direct me otherwhere. I have been on Misplaced Pages since 2011, but first started editing more actively in early summer 2012, mainly on Norwegian (bokmål) Misplaced Pages; since 2013 more of my editing have been to English Misplaced Pages. The archive of my first two years on English Misplaced Pages is here, if it is of interest. WebCitewho I can else request? (Idot (talk) 06:47, 8 July 2013 (UTC))

Prosecution of Marte DalelvHallo Iselilja, we discussed on the article Prosecution of Marte Dalelv. The section "References to Shari'a/Four witnesses" is for me not so important because Zina is also liked in the article and so on ... . I would say another thing would be more important: I think the similar case which was also really good in the media would be more interesting and should get also an article; compare: http://en.wikipedia.org/Talk:Prosecution_of_Marte_Dalelv#Another_Dubai_rape_case_-_Alexandre_Robert_-_from_2007_.28wrote_it_on_this_talk_page.2C_to_prevent_confusion.29 But I have not the time to make an article. I asked also Gobonobo: http://en.wikipedia.org/User_talk:Gobonobo; but he did not answer. Both are sometimes in the media named as "Dubai rape case", so that I think by the way that we have looked on the second case (made edits on the article), it would be logical to make it also with the first case. I could place quotes of the German newspapers if there would be an English article to the first known case. --Soenke Rahn (talk) 21:35, 23 July 2013 (UTC)
I will not start it, I said that. Not the time and so on. I would only edit it. Friendly greetings from Flensburg --Soenke Rahn (talk) 13:21, 24 July 2013 (UTC) ReconsiderSince you mentioned the oppose rationale, i thought you'd be interested in reading my oppose in WP:Requests for adminship/Adjwilley. I've taken the liberty of working a little bit on the choice of words, to more accurately reflect what the source has said, but generally it's very good. I also like your contribution in on the Talk page for the ArbCom proposed decision. The most recent motion would set a very bad precedent, for many reasons, but you've spotted the most important: people will be unwilling to become involved in contentious articles, if everyone is probably going to be topic banned, whether they've behaved themselves or not. SilkTork has already been worrying that ArbCom involvement has had a chilling effect, on both editors and admins, in doing anything to make the article better. This would bring the chilling effect to ice storm level. regards ... Phoenix and Winslow (talk) 20:15, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
User:HighIntellectualGiven their attitude and editing history, I don't think issuing further warnings to them is going to do much good: I suggest Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents might be more a more appropriate venue. -- Chronulator (talk) 10:25, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

Incidentally, the essay mentioned above itself was a copy / paste from the anscor website (which is where I got the information for the anscor wiki article), hence madman bot may have made the note. I have since changed the wordings in the anscor wiki aticle hence I don't think any copyright issues exist any longer. Do let me know if you feel otherwise. Thanks Iselilja, I have further simplified the language in the Anscor article to solve this issue. September 2013Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Rasmus Hansson may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 ""s and 2 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

We noticed though that when you edited Peter Christian Frølich, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page TV2 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Cwmhiraeth (submissions) currently leads; if that lead is held, she will become the first person to have won the WikiCup twice. Sasata (submissions), Hawkeye7 (submissions)—who has never participated in the competition before—and Casliber (submissions) follow. The majority of points in this round have come from a mix of good articles and bonus points. This final round is seeing contributions to a number of highly important topics; recent submissions include Phoenix (constellation) (FA by Casliber), Ernest Lawrence (GA by Hawkeye7), Pinniped, and red fox (both GAs by Sasata). The did you know (DYK) eligibility criteria have recently changed, meaning that newly passed good articles are accepted as "new" for did you know purposes. However, in the interests of not changing the WikiCup rules mid-competition, please note that only articles eligible for DYK under the old system (that is, newly created articles or 5x expansions) will be eligible for points in this year's WikiCup. We do, however, have time to discuss how this new system will work for next year's competition; a discussion will be opened in due course. On that note, thoughts are welcome on changes you'd like to see for next year. What worked? What didn't work? What would you like to see more of? What would you like to see less of? All Wikipedians, new or old, are also warmly invited to sign up for the 2014 WikiCup. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Misplaced Pages:WikiCup/Reviews. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, please do your bit to reduce the review backlogs! Questions are welcome on Misplaced Pages talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! Thank you :) Though it was vandalism, just not fully correct according to the policies we follow for titles. For one thing, you'd be able to explain your reasons. For another, it would show everyone that you looked at the talk page before declaring what the consensus was. Either way, it's a fine idea.
