Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at VY Canis Majoris. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Misplaced Pages this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. Your recent editing history at VY Canis Majoris shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring. Thank you.
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 36 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at VY Canis Majoris. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Bbb23 (talk) 18:58, 25 September 2013 (UTC)
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:
If you looked at my edit, it was constructive. The two users (Possibly one person with multiple accounts) who continued to revert it were just being disruptive. Tarlneustaedter also reverted my edit 3 times despite it not being disruptive in any way, if you scan his contributions page he never contributes to Misplaced Pages, only removes edits even if they're not a clear case of vandalism. Atotalstranger (talk) 19:25, 25 September 2013 (UTC)
Decline reason:
"My edit was constructive" is not one of the few exemptions listed at WP:3RR. You will need to demonstrate that you understand why you were blocked and explain how you would act differently should the situation arise again in order for an unblock to be considered. You are responsible for your actions on Misplaced Pages, and blaming others in an unblock request rarely ends well. Please read the Guide to Appealing Blocks for further advice. Jezebel'sPonyo 20:01, 25 September 2013 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
