Is it just me, or have they tampered with the frame rate? It looks like it has been filmed at 30fps and then converted to 25fps. Can anyone confirm? If yes, then my question is why? Do they do it because they have NTSC audiences? Or do they do it to give it an American "FEEL" about it? Would doing this somehow draw a larger audience, who might associate the framerate to highly successful shows like Dawsons Creek, The O.C. etc, and be subliminally drawn to watch Home & Away?

They switched to filming in digital in 2004/2005. This gives the show a different look, and is probably what you noticed. TV is broadcast at 25fps regardless of how it was filmed, so filming at 30fps would means you would have to drop every sixth frame, or have everyone moving slower --] 06:45, 3 October 2005 (UTC)

== Bidding War ==
Was there really a bidding war between ITV and five? I thought ITV/Carlton just decided to dump the soap like they did with so many others eg, PCBH, Crossroads, High Road etc that weren't performing so well in the ratings.... It stinks that they made us wait so long before five could show it ] 19:53, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

Epidodes section

This section needs to be revised or removed. It currently contains a list of "cliffhanger" moments without any framework or context to place them in (including listing events pertaining to certain characters that haven't been described). --Daveb 07:32, 21 July 2005 (UTC)

No improvements made. Section did not add meaningful information. Section removed boldly.--Daveb 06:43, 19 August 2005 (UTC)

Cast Section

What is with all these people who are constantly tinkering with the cast section, especially those adding false information?? Austvguy 12:27, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

I've tidied up the bit about up about returning characters correcting factual mistakes. I've never heard about the Frank Lloyd story myself, but I'll assume it to be correct. --Ryan86 23:04, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

Beth's surname

Why isn't she listed as Beth Sutherland. Did she ever say she was changing her name back after divorcing Rhys?

Answer: In the season finale of 2004 Alf said that she was "a good woman Beth Sutherland" to which she replied "Hunter, Beth Hunter" James Bond style. --Ryan86 21:05, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
