"And/or vandalism"? Seriously?? ;O) As for "test edit", adding two words that make sense is hardly a test edit. I've been at Misplaced Pages for years. is my test friend. ;-)

No, what I thought you might be objecting to is the fact that fright, already mentioned, is part of "cowed". You might have given primacy to the tautology while dismissing the distinction between the two words. I added "cowed" because it's clearly related to the topic yet not that common a word, hence useful to point out the association; a wee bonus to "click" in the reader's mind.

I imagine that I've lost several perfectly valid minor edits due to reactionary <whatever the wikinoun is> swooping in with more defensive vigilance than thought. Unfortunately, your hasty edit was the vandalism but at least you had the courtesy to leave me a message, although this has cost me time and effort. Maybe better to just delete my good work and not have me know? ;o) Or maybe better that I cultivate a "why bother?" attitude towards giving my time to Misplaced Pages? What do you think?

Disruptive Editing

I believe you sent me a warning to, and I quote, "stop your disruptive editing" to the Mao(card game) page. I am not sure if you are aware of this, but the Mao page is in flagrant violation of the Rules of Mao. The Rules expressly state that no one is allowed to tell or communicate in any way the rules to someone who does not know them. However, the Mao(card game) page does exactly that. In order to preserve the sanctity of the game of Mao, I attempted to correct this violation of the Rules. The Mao community is, for the most part, composed of extremely dedicated players. The mere thought that someone would be so uncaring about the Rules and honor code of Mao sickens us. I request that you aid my attempts to protect the ideal of the game of Mao. Dapriceofimmortality

This edit appeared to be clear vandalism because you changed a nationality to an ethnicity commonly used by vandals. However, if he is in fact Jewish, I would write it as: "Seth Rogen (/ˈroʊɡɪn/; born April 15, 1982) is a Jewish Canadian stand-up comedian, actor, producer, director, and screenwriter.

Because I want to assume good faith from everyone that edits, I went ahead and removed the vandal warning from your talk page. Correct Colour for Political party

For the recently undone edit concerning the colour of the SNP in the 2010 uk elections. I noticed that the colour used in nearly ever article to represent the SNP was #FFFF00, therefore I thought it would be best to change it to keep continuity, avoid confusion and give a uniform look to the article. This edit appeared nonconstructive to me. However, gangrene was a valid concern of the time, if I were to rewrite it I would say, "The first bullet ricocheted off either a bullet-proof button or an award medal on McKinley's jacket and lodged in his sleeve but the second shot pierced his stomach. McKinley died eight days later, on September 14, 1901, at 2:15 a.m. because the doctors forgot to drain his wound of bacteria and pus before sewing the wound shut, causing the President to contract Gangrene." or something similar, the way the edit was made it appeared as vandalism. It sounds like you have a vested interest in the subject matter, and to be honest I am a complete layman when it comes to the subject. This page is not being used for advertising. On the contary. It would appear "IS Tropical" are vandalising this page for their own purposes and adding irrelenvent and false information. CIK Numbers

Hi,

CIK numbers are very important to people who are trying to get the proper SEC filing data from EDGAR. Tickers and Names (such as what we have on the current page) are too coarse (e.g. the link for RIG goes to the wrong company), while proper CIK numbers are accurate and precise. I spent a long time compiling those CIK numbers and wanted to contribute them to the world. Yes 132 is Face or Faith, but without the stylization or punctuation, generally for Manga chapters we try to keep the entries' translations as such. I did remove the vandal warning for ya, because that's clearly a good faith edit. RE Michael Ferriter

I appreciate your interest in preventing vandalism. I deleted that section about LTG Ferriter because it contained false information (LTG Ferriter is not a widower to the best of my knowledge; I served in his unit in the Army. His son is absolutely not the Chief of the Staff of the Army, and neither was LTG Ferriter). Second, the content (pasted below) makes absolutely no sense. It was complete nonsense, with sentence fragments and illogical word combinations that seemed more like spam. It is not remotely close to scholarly/professional writing. I'm pasting it below.

"Ferriter is a widower, And has a son called Romeo Ferriter he is the Chief of Staff of the United States Army Always remember that the strength of our nation is our Army. The strength of our Army is our soldiers. The strength of our soldiers is our Families. And that’s what makes us Army Strong."

Again, this section makes no sense whatsoever and is clearly not up to Misplaced Pages community standards. I am going to delete it again unless whoever wrote it corrects this misinformation and terrible writing.

This edit removed a large section of text which flags the edit for vandalism. However, I do agree that the text was barely comprehensible and needed to be re-written but not disregarded, as both his status as a widower and the quote given both considerably add to the article. You removed important key topics such as "modeling career" for what?

You also removed parts and pieces of other sections such as personal life for what? How are we supposed to show our clients love for football and lacrosse? It's personal for a reason.

And why did you remove our IMDb sources? We have attempted to explain IMDb's sources and reliability 20 times tonight to you and another author.
