I didn't request a deletion as such: I requested that the histories of BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Radio Five Live be merged (to fix a copy-and-paste move), following the instructions at Misplaced Pages:How to fix cut and paste moves. According to that page, an administrator must temporarily delete the article, then follow the repair process. Since I am not an administrator, I couldn't do this myself!
