Battleground (2014) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It will take place on July 20, 2014 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, Florida.It will be the second event under the Battleground chronology, with the event having originated in 2013.

Battleground will feature professional wrestling matches involving different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on WWE's television programs. Wrestlers portray heroes or villains as they follow a series of events that build tension, and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches. The event will also feature a special match called a Battleground Hardcore Rules Match , which is similar to a No Holds Barred match.
