"Looter Guy" is the name applied to a series of ] renditions of a photograph taken during the aftermath of ] in ], and to the man shown in the photograph. The original photograph showed an ] man, approximately 25-35 years of age, wading through floodwaters, pushing a bucketfull of ] ] bottles (floating on the water) that were presumably looted from a nearby flooded store. The picture has circulated around the internet and the Looter Guy, as he has come to be called, has been added to different well-known scenes humorously, such as movie ] covers, posters, and famous photographs. | |||
While called racially offensive by certain groups, the intent of the photos has been strictly humor-based. He is an American Hero. | |||
