The Rokel River is one of the principal rivers in Sierra Leone in western Africa. It runs down from the Loma Mountains of the south-east for some 400 kilometres and enters the Atlantic some 50 kilometres north-east of the capital Freetown. Template:Sierra Leone-stubs
