This is a list of New England Patriots/Boston Patriots players who appeared on the active roster during the regular season. It does not include players who have only appeared on the roster during preseason. The history of New England Patriots began in 1960, with the formation of the American Football League. Then known as the Boston Patriots, the team's first draft pick was Ron Burton. They have had four members inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Nineteen players are members of the New England Patriots Hall of Fame, and seven of those have had their numbers retired.

Bob Yates played in 68 regular season games and 2 playoff games for the Boston Patriots over the 1960-65 seasons. He recovered a fumble on 10-09-64 and an onside kick by the Raiders on 10-16-64. He wore #61 in 1960 and #50 over the 1961-65 seasons. He kicked off in 55 games for the Boston Patriots as well.
