== Good articles ==

I heard you wanna improve some articles up to Good Article status? I recommend this as it is a good way of getting a stable/consensus version you can refer back to later. I saw the conversation at Eric Corbett's talk page so can offer some help. Choosing a relatively narrow-focussed article is a good starting point. ] (] '''·''' ]) 04:19, 7 October 2014 (UTC)

Hello from me, too! The one thing I learned here in five years was patience. (You can read that in the 2014 archive of my user page.) If you have questions, just post them here, I will watch. (Watch means: mark a page you are interested in by clicking on the little star in the top row, and see changes to it on your watchlist.) Please don't expect an instant answer ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:39, 19 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi, I still get my user page and the article pages mixed up. Please feel free to post where ever you like. I'm going to copy your earlier comment onto the article page though... so I won't lose track of it. Thanks again. EastDimeBoxFrank (talk) 20:07, 21 September 2014 (UTC)

Creating a sandbox for "practicing"

Create a page at this link (User:EastDimeBoxFrank/Sandbox), and you can use it to practice different things you want to eventually use to edit the encyclopedia.You can even use it to look at what your new signatures might look like. LHM 22:52, 22 September 2014 (UTC)

Thanks LHM. I've never used the sandbox. Maybe it will even let me see citations without their formatting (I hope). I'll check it out now. A little while ago I looked up some of the things you've done on Wiki, and I saw that you've been involved in a lot of very interesting editing interactions. I feel lucky that you're taking time with me on this. DimeBoxFrank (talk) 23:34, 22 September 2014 (UTC)
  • I looked on your work page and saw that you'd contributed to the editing of a wide range of interesting (and varied) articles. I guess the process isn't called "editing interactions," but since it's such a collaborative process, I thought of it that way. DimeBoxFrank (talk) 04:26, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

I'm not going to edit further... until Astynax is ready for me to begin again!

  • I'm not going to do more editing on this article now (and I'll wait for Astynax). Regarding the changes I made last night: I was awake and could see that nobody was working on the citations, so I tried to clean it up for Astynax... I got rid of some dead links, reformatted some sources into a less casual form, and I got rid of some "bad" sources and replaced them with "good" ones (I think). I have a better idea now of what is a good source and what is a bad (or not-so-good) one. I didn't want Astynax to deal with any more of a nightmare than he (or she?) had to. I think it's a little better... I don't really know. Anyway, now I'm done because I don't want to get in Astynax's way. DimeBoxFrank (talk) 13:51, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

You are doing a really great job at Andrew R. Heinze! Keep it up! LHM 22:04, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 30

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Swig Program in Jewish Studies and Social Justice, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages USF and Swig. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
