Upon beating the game, the heroes learn that Dhaos arrived at earth to retrieve a Mana Seed to save his dying people on his home planet. In the epilogue, the heroes ponder if defeating Dhaos effectively sentenced his people to death, but then justify their means when they realize that Dhaos killed many people to meet his means.
