Please understand that I, revert a lot of edits like that every day. And by edits like that I mean, edits that sound slanderous but at the same time COULD be true. I don't have time to look it up in every case, so I remove it. The automatic messages you receive tell you why you have been reverted and I'm now asking you to please include sources if there is even a slight chance information you add could be questionable and also to keep your wording as neutral as possible. You have no evidence, no sources and it's still slander. Source information does not have to be available online or linkable, but you need to identify the source so other people are able to verify the claim if they want. If your source is a court decision, see Legal citation for how to reference that court case and Misplaced Pages:Citing sources for why we need to identify our sources. Please keep in mind that it's not just about being able to reference a source - the information has to be relevant to the subject. The claim of adultery does not seem to be relevant to information about the Trophy, but it would be relevant on the referee's biography page (if it existed). If the claims have caused a scandal affecting the Association, resulting in a court case and media coverage, then such information might be added to the Association's page under its own heading. Fargo to Faggot

Not sure exactly how, but it assigns a number score to edits on the Wiki. The higher the number the more likely it is vandalism. It's based around key words, age of the account, has the user been warned about vandalism before, etc. But that's probably simplifying it a lot. —Frosty ☃ 00:26, 18 November 2014 (UTC)

Hello!

It is against Misplaced Pages rules to accuse people of vandalism when no such vandalism has taken place and could result in you having a 'meeting' with some wiki higher ups. I made the edit in order to see what my ip address was in order to check recent edits. Unfortunately by the time the edit was confirmed on my screen I already had a message on my talk page, meaning I was unable to revert. As such, what I did was clearly not vandalism.

His article on Misplaced Pages should be about his career and why he is notable. Yes, it is apparent that he did those things you mentioned, but making reference to them in the article (which has already been done) is enough. There was an interwiki link to the Covalent Bond article already present in that sentence. If people wanted to know information about Covalent Bonds, all they would have to do is follow that link. Rebuttal on Update 11/28/2014

Frosty,

You said that my edits to the Second Invasion of Manchuria were redundant because I used Joseon instead of Korea. However, in the historical context, there was no "Korea" during that time period. The use of Korea did not come into existence until the the modern age and so, during that time people living on the Korean peninsula would identify themselves as Joseon. Hmmmmm perhaps you are right. However, the country used in the text should match that of the title. IMO, your best course of action would be to open a discussion about moving the page and changing the name within the text.
