I think hat definition was written before multirotors became common. Anyway, I just did some quick research, and looks like there is no consensus on the terminology here, so you can just leave it as is. — Preceding ] comment added by ] (] • ]) 07:41, 9 December 2014 (UTC) | I think hat definition was written before multirotors became common. :{{replyto|Mba83}} I agree with you that there is no consensus on the terminology for quads. If you still have those sources discussing the controversy as to the terminology, perhaps we can expand this discussion in the ] article. ] (]) 08:34, 9 December 2014 (UTC) |

Multirotors
I never used the "talk" feature before, so not sure if I'm doing it correctly. Just wanted to let you know that I don't think it's proper terminology to call multirotors "helicopters". They are different types of flying machines/devices — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mba83 (talk • contribs) 05:54, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
- @Mba83: WP defines helicopter as "a type of rotorcraft in which lift and thrust are supplied by rotors". In my understanding, multirotors fit this definition perfectly. Please explain why you think they do not. Mihaister (talk) 16:56, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
