Plot outline
Children of Men envisions a world that has fallen into anarchy and violence, where a child hasn't been born for 18 years and humankind faces the likelihood of its extinction. In 2027, one of the world's youngest people, Kee, is found to be miraculously pregnant. A disillusioned ex-activist turned bureaucrat agrees to help transport and protect her to a sanctuary at sea - a desperate journey where he will face his demons and attempt to restore faith in the future of humanity.
