License tagging for Image:Shirley bassey 1.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Shirley bassey 1.jpg. Misplaced Pages gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Misplaced Pages, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. 23:06, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
Image Tagging for Image:Bhagwat.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Bhagwat.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Misplaced Pages's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Portal:Sega
Unless I misread the discussion at Misplaced Pages:Portal/Proposals there exists no consensus for the creation of Portal:Sega. I note that you have created the portal though. Appreciate your thoughts on moving this forward, perhaps listing the portal at WP:MFD for wider discussion of the issues. Steve block Talk 12:45, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
no personal attacks
Please see Misplaced Pages's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.
Do not insult other people on their views and beliefs. Also, do not claim a monopoly of views on any subject, especially religion. Rama's Arrow 05:49, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
When did I attack anyones relgion? Please give a example towards this so I would know in the future.
- On Talk:Sikhism, the repeated use of the word "idiot(s)," and the insinuation that nobody knew Sikhism or was a Sikh unless he shared your logic is construed as a personal attack. Please sign your edits with four tildes. Rama's Arrow 17:08, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

Please do not make personal attacks on other people. Misplaced Pages has a policy against personal attacks. In some cases, users who engage in personal attacks may be blocked from editing by admins or banned by the arbitration committee. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Please resolve disputes appropriately. Thank you. This Fire Burns Always 19:47, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Blanking talk page
Please do not remove messages from your talk page. Talk pages exist as a record of communication, and in any case, comments are available through the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted comments. Thanks. --Lumina83 04:21, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
It seems to me that you are acting in an uncivil manner. Please remain civil and don't resort to making personal attacks or instigate edit wars. This Fire Burns Always 12:54, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
What are you talkinga about Rama? The reason I blanked it was to tidy it up since the topics were already solved, I didn't know I coulden't do it.
Could I remove those image tags?

- I am referring to your statements on Talk:Sikhism. See WP:USER on how to properly reorganize talkpages. This Fire Burns Always 12:57, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
What which one are you talking about now, since I have a chance to talk to you know can I post that Hinduization of Sikhism link in the article since the other guy put his?

- Misplaced Pages is not a place for the pro-Khalistanis and RSS people to square off against each other. Please see WP:SOURCE for what constitutes an appropriate, reliable source or link for information. Do not add any material from propaganda websites.
- Also, please do not post messages that are rude, insensitive and insulting to other editors. All editors (including you) deserve the same level of respect. This Fire Burns Always 13:12, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Also, please sign your posts with four ~. This Fire Burns Always 13:13, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
The reason I want to put it up is to educate people, to tell them the Sikh faith is facing problems in this modern age. Many of the other religious pages have something like it on theirs so I don't see whats wrong.

Warning
- The images you are upholding have no source information. These may be deleted - please add appropriate information.
- Your reason is not the point - WP:SOURCE and WP:NPOV is. This Fire Burns Always 13:35, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
Yea they do I included them, their scans of pamphlets, Magazines, etc which were distributed by the RSS.
I said that when I was uploading it, if you want I can post links to those images in the main article, btw do you know how to down size a image?

Hinduization of Sikhism
Excuse me but this entire article violates WP:NPOV and WP:SOURCE. If you want to talk about the RSS activities with Sikh communities, you should include the info in the RSS article and not create a "Hinduization" (POV, neologism) article which opens with "Brahminism." This Fire Burns Always 14:21, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
Whats wrong with this, the other guy did and no one really said anything and none of his sources were verifed, they were just rumors and coincedinces. Clean up what you want in the article then.
And the sources are at the bottom, it dosen't violate NPOV, why don't you give some examples next time.
- I'm going to ask other editors to weigh in. The information put into the Sikhism article has credible references thru citations. I'm not saying this article is bad - the info on the Rashtriya Sikh Sangat is useful, but the whole article comes across as anti-Hindu, more than anything about political and cultural issues between Hindus and Sikhs. This Fire Burns Always 14:31, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
I never said anything anti-Hindu, infact I never mentioned Hinduism besides the picutres of the Gurus being put into the Hindu temples.
Can you please give a example of were I said Anti Hindu things in the article?
- I've set this article up to be deleted. Not because the issues don't need discussion, but because the entire page is a copyright violation. You shouldn't disrupt Misplaced Pages to make a point (see WP:POINT). This is not how to combat Aryan818's additions.
- Sukh | ਸੁਖ | Talk 15:16, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
Read the post I made in the discussions area regarding this matter, it makes it more organized if we post on that page then all over the place.
- If you're going to contest the speedy deletion request, please state why. Merely contesting it for no reason won't stop it happening. Sukh | ਸੁਖ | Talk 15:29, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
Dammit I had this long explanation and it was never submitted, ill get anothe rone up in 5 minutes.
