'''Look''' may refer to: A distance of travel, conveyed locally in parts of Kentucky. It was defined to me by an old timer there, and he was deadly serious. "Son, go out to the highway and look down the road as far as you can see. Then go down the highway to that spot, that is one look. You want to go two looks to get to where you're going, so look again and go to that spot, and now you've gone two looks, and you should be there." I could see that he was not kidding me, and the other old fellows in the store had expressions on their faces that confirmed that he was giving me some very valuble piece of information. So I went down the road two "looks" and sure enough I was there! | |||
