I have put hours of my time into this project, because I believed in it, and because it was fun. I have enough stress in my life as it is, and I don't want a place where I come to get away from it all turning into a source of more. Isis, could we clear something up? Is it this statement which is causing the problem?

: Isis' interpretation is mistaken. Photographs are covered by copyright. -- Tarquin 10:09 Jan 26, 2003 (UTC)

Because I simply do not understand what the problem is with that. As for calling me one of the "jackals", I don't understand that either. We had a discussion on Meta a few months ago in which you called me a troll; I admit I was continually failing to understand what you were saying about copyrights, but I in no way meant to harass you. It has never been my intention to "keep trying to create an issue about copyrights on the Misplaced Pages"; as I explained at the time on meta, my concern was that photos which may pass for "fair use" on the web now might not do so when Misplaced Pages publishes paper editions. I'm quite hurt by the jackal comment, since in the days of the TMC user I tried to reason with him on the grounds he had driven away a contributor whom I considered to be a valuable asset to Misplaced Pages, ie you. -- ] 09:47 Feb 3, 2003 (UTC)

You refuse to discuss the matter with me once again. You make more threats of legal action, and I still don't understand if this is about clearing your reputation with wikipedians or about getting a court to rule on copyright law on the back of a spurious case. Despite what you say on ], I have never set jackals or hyenas on you. You are still mistaken in your interpretation of copyright law, that is my opinion and I stand by it. I do not think that pointing out a single mistake lowers others' opinions of you, but you are obviously the sensitive type. No worries, so am I, which is why I am leaving. I can't take this anymore. -- ] 11:44 Feb 3, 2003 (UTC)

Clearing up & packing my bags.

So much for collegiate spirit & all that.

I have put hours of my time into this project, because I believed in it, and because it was fun. I have enough stress in my life as it is, and I don't want a place where I come to get away from it all turning into a source of more.
