Something for you
Whack! You've been whacked with a wet trout. Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly. |
For repeatedly creating links to nonexistent categories. WP:Categorization reads 'An article should never be left with a non-existent (redlinked) category on it. Either the category should be created, or else the link should be removed or changed to a category that does exist.'
{{WikiProject Chemicals}}
This wikiproject is not likely applicable to a number of the articles you're applying it to. I changed some of them. Tom Ruen (talk) 06:59, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 13
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Elizabeth Spencer (writer), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Guggenheim Foundation and Centenary College (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

For somehow whopping up a massive 1 million edits on wikipedia!! Doesn't seem that long ago that you passed me and I've still not reached even half that amount!! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:31, 14 January 2015 (UTC) |
Yes, back then I did do a lot with mass editing! I think it needed it at the time in the earlier days to try to address systematic bias. Sometimes I still think a round or two might be good but I tend to focus on quality these days!♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:44, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

Hello Ser Amantio di Nicolao! Bhootrina (talk) has given you a bit of sunshine to brighten your day! Sunshine promotes WikiLove and hopefully it has made your day better. Spread the sunshine by adding {{subst:User:Meaghan/Sunshine}} to someone else's talk page, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. In addition, you can spread the sunshine to anyone who visits your userpage and/or talk page by adding {{User:Meaghan/Sunshine icon}}. Happy editing! Bhootrina (talk) 07:09, 17 January 2015 (UTC) |
Composer categories
Greetings! I notice you are adding lots of composers to the Category:20th-century composers. Many of these should be in the more specific Category:20th-century classical composers. I changed two of them before I realised you were going far faster than I could keep up! --Deskford (talk) 01:58, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
Hello, Ser Amantio di Nicolao. You have new messages at Deskford's talk page. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
A kitten for you!
Dear Ser Amantio di Nicolao, thank you for your work on my mother, Helen Barolini, Wikepedia page. She just turned 89 and I, her daughter Nicoletta Barolini, have been trying to update it. But alas, I am really not an editor nor a Wikepedia expert, so I am very grateful to you for helping to include my mother in Wikepedia. Thank you kindly and best wishes for the new year! Aristobulus of Britannia
Dear Ser Amantio di Nicolao, if you have time, you might care to peruse Aristobulus of Britannia which displays a theoretical chart proposing him as an Herodian. Perhaps he was, but the analysis to get there seems like boot-strapping conjecture. Cheers. Mannanan51 (talk) 05:45, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

DYK for Karolina Olsson
On 22 January 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Karolina Olsson, which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the Swedish woman Karolina Olsson purportedly stayed in a constant state of sleep for 32 years? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Karolina Olsson. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Harry Eytinge
Hello. Thanks for the help with Harry Eytinge and Louis Victor Eytinge. The reason I named Harry Eytinge as "Harry Eytinge (Actor 1822-1900)" was that there was a silent movie actor named Harry Eytinge who was born some time later in 1862 and I may write his bio if I can find enough information. No problem though, just thought I would let you know.

Template:Tashkent Province
Can you attach this to the foot of all articles within it? Glad to see we've passed 4.7 mill now anyway, it makes it looks "fuller" if you know what I mean now.♦ Dr. Blofeld 09:18, 24 January 2015 (UTC)

I am in the process
of doing an article about Ethel Edwards and in the process of trying to separate your stub (that was cruelly smushed) from a link to the article about her husband Xavier Gonzalez find myself sinking in wikiquicksand. pPrhaps more coffee would help? Anyway, this is not so much a cry for help as as I thought that you might like to know that Ms. Edwars has been resurrected, not without some struggle.
