John Frederick Stockwell was an English murderer. He was convicted of killing Dudley Henry Hoard, manager of the Eastern Palace Cinema in Bow Road, London with an axe in 1934. He pleaded guilty to the charge of murder on 22 October 1934 and was hanged at HMP Pentonville on 14 November.
